Ok so. I can't be the only one who is SO TIRED of the summer. Like it's so hot every single day. I can't even wear good outfits cause one layer too much and I'm drenched in sweat. It's unbearable. Speaking of unBEARable, anybody else think Bear from Obsession is their literal worst nightmare? I mean ok, he's shy and reserved blah blah blah. WRONG. He's a manipulative pick me asshole. "Oh she'll never go for a guy like me wah wah boo hoo" like SHUT UP UGH. Like even if you didn't think the wish was gonna work, you don't care enough about the girl you supposedly love to notice the fact that her behavior changed COMPLETELY in a matter of minutes? You don't car enough to call the cops? a family member? a mental institution? Someone? Anyone, really, to help her? I mean for fucks sake everyone in that movie sucked really cause you're telling me no one noticed her behavior and thought "hmm something's not right maybe we should help her?" NOT EVEN WHEN SHE LITERALLY TOLD EVERYONE THAT SHE WASN"T IN CONTROL OF HER OWN BODY? Oh ok, yeah sure. But anyway I digress. Since we're talking about movies, y'all should definitely follow my letterboxd (@gwensbugboy) cause when I do have the energy to write and post a review I will say they're relatively entertaining to read. Basically blog posts but for movies lol. Anyway, I miss my boyfriend as always, but back to talking about my dislike of summer. Don't get me wrong, there are definitely positives to the season. Boat rides, swimming, picnics, amusement parks, no school, etc. But come on, you can do half of those things in fall too. Arguably fall picnics are better anyway, and swimming just so happens to be a winter sport so obviously that's not exclusively a summer thing (duh, indoor pools exist). Granted, swimming in the lake or ocean is objectively better, but as a water sign I'll take just being near a body of water, don't even have to get in to be happy. Like have you ever experienced snow on the beach? That right there is true magic. But fall, oh my goodness, there's just something so special about watching the leaves change colors, going to the pumpkin patch, or walking though a corn maze with a hot cup of apple cider and a honey stick in hand. Side note: honey sticks are heavenly. There's just something so magical about the last three months of the year. October, November, December, and March are the best months, fight me. (No actually fight me bc March is my birthday month therefore I'll die on the hill that it's top 4). All I'm saying is, the day I can wear tights, slouch socks, uggs, and sweaters again will be the day my life is complete.

this post speaks to me like yes I like summer but fall to me is really the season that gets me hyped up more then summer because its so beautiful, same with spring. I love equinox seasons☺.
I haven't seen obsession yet (I plan too) but from what I'm hearing about bear it seems like he's a very good depiction of the kind of men in this generation (its important that he isn't that hostile or the angry type either just insecure and controlling because that tells a lot)
also what are honey sticks? that sounds delicious
Right! Equinox seasons are the best.
And you're right, it is very important that he's not hostile or angry cause a lot of men feel like they can get away with being manipulative as long as they're not openly showing it. They're even more dangerous than the openly hostile ones honestly cause it's easy to miss the red flags under the "nice guy" mask.
Honey sticks are basically just little tubes filled with different types of flavored honey. I love them so much, especially the apple cinnamon ones.
