This is my first blog, i mean ever, but that wouldn't really matter, considering i can't really say i didn't do different things up until now. One thing that, probably you'll notice if you know me or enter on my profile is that i am somewhat of a video game collector, a more retro one. Like i genuinely love finding good deals and games on the PS2 especially, i really got into great games and stories because of the Playstation 2, i've been just having a thrill experiencing these games and buying them.
Some people do it out of nostalgia... Others because they want to seem "cool" on social media for living in another era... I can't say i am in either of those, i don't have memories of these games, but i don't really want to pretend or show off how cool i am, i simply want to enjoy these games because they attract me, even thought i probably found them on pinterest or tiktok through some random dude posting old ads for it (Most notable example is Dead or Alive 3, for me). They are the type of games that i will always remember for being in a right place at a right time in my life, either if it was after the stress of the National Exam (very serious btw) or simply it was a day i ate icecream and decided to play King of Fighters 2002.
My point is that some retro collectors, especially on the younger behalf like me, forget how to enjoy the game without flexing it and it is kinda sad in its own way. But atleast for me i'm greatful i got into this hobby and now i got more properly into gaming and loving it, i probably wouldn't find stuff i like in modern era of video games if it weren't for that.
On that point, my birthday is around the corner and a Xbox Original is coming right to me baby, let's hope the shipping didn't do smth to the console and i need to return it AGAIN cuz i'll tweak out, okay?
