i thought this was a safe place where people could talk about anything, and if something didn't entertain someone, they would just ignore it. But some users are so judgmental.
I know I may be too sensitive, I really am, and I know there are cool people in this community. It's just that some of them aren't very friendly... you can just keep your rudeness to yourself sometimes.

don't worry - i am just like you. i am really sensitive and hate it when people are mean, especially when all i do is expel kindness. it's really a punch in the face. i haven't experienced anyone being rude directly on this website, but i have blocked people due to some very upsetting and rude blogs. i'd say try your best to disconnect from it. spend some time doing things that make you happy. rude people have been online for years, and even spaces like this won't let you 100% escape it, unfortunately. i'd say just block the ones you don't want in your space, and keep going. don't let them ruin your day. in the end, i do think there is a larger ratio of nice people on here to rude, so just try to stay strong and don't let them ruin your fun.

internet is a really rough place in general, modern social media (with a few exceptions) just make it seem like it's not
as for the mean comments... internet is a very big space, you can meet all sorts of people on here cuz the only countries that don't have internet access now are 3rd world countries
there are people that treat internet interactions like a game, they just don't take it serious at all
in other words: while you sit and think too much into their comment, they don't even remember they made it
so why care so much? you don't own them any response, just be happy that they gave you some sweet interaction under your post

i've seen plenty of people commenting things like "keep that to yourself" or "no one even cares" on some blogs, as if sharing your thoughts and opinions isn't the entire point of them. kinda weird.
people can just ignore some posts instead of being an asshole to random people, ykim...?!?

I have noticed that a lot of people on this platform keep treating it like a mainstream social media and don't seem to understand the point of this platform at all. I wonder if that's part of it, they're bringing modern social media toxicity with them to places like this
