i'm looking for a site that basically just lets you upload mp3s, like mp3.com or something. yeah, i know soundcloud exists but that has an upload limit and i'm talking about straight rawdogging 128kbps mp3s. i technically have a site but i don't have the 12 bucks to renew it and i also kind of want to use a small service to support one if it does exist. the closest i can think of is cybergrunge but that still prioritizes uploading it as a "release" instead of just a file. there's also the internet archive which could be kinda close, though is still clunky and is intended for collections of files rather than just a database.
i dunno if anyone here knows of a service like this though, i might just have to use mediafire or something like that.

it isn't a site but have you tried soulseek? it shares files from your computer or phone to others as long as you have a shared folder selected. it's mainly for music but you can share just about anything they can download your stuff, you can download theirs. seeker is the mobile version

yeah, i've been using soulseek for many many years now, i still appreciate your recommendation. my friend is trying to get into soulseek and i made a sort of tutorial for her actually lol
