Dude recently ive been unable to find good shows or movies to watch cuz im really into high-school media, yk, the usual stories that revolve around a group of teenagers in some sort of program or institution which sometimes dictates the trajectory of the story yk like...school..
Best most ideal version of this concept has GOT to be MHA.
A good example of this is Riverdale. I would personally call this my guilty pleasure i mean, it isnt exactly perfect but what can i say..im weird..im a weirdo.
Everytime i think i find a good highschool anime its always lathered in fan service or just straight up boring. Like the story NEVER goes anywhere and they end up ditching a high-potential concept for the sake of baseless and really really boring romance. A gem i did find tho was Classroom of the Elite. i didnt know people made fun of that show and that it was a meme, but yeha its pretty sick, kinda hard to follow but that makes it all the better. I did stop watching at season 3 because they changed the animation for s4 and im sorry i js am that picky.
Anyway because of this gap in cinema i find myself rewatching Class of 09, ATLA and so many other shows i can think of rn..
Yall got any suggestions for shows or movies that give the vibe im looking for??:>

You should really try Kaguya-Sama Love Is War, i feel like that's the peakest of highschool life there is. The romance actually goes somewhere, trust me it'll be the best 3 season you ever had

I don't know if this list will fit the vibe you're going for completely but a few high school centered animes, shows, and movies I can think about are:
Puella Magi Madoka Magica and Madoka Magica: Magia Record. More related to magical girls than high school but they're mostly around those ages. Idk
Charlotte. Again, magic and power but they're high school students. Slight romance at the end, but not too much
Yowamushi Pedal. Cycling anime, really cute
If Wishes Could Kill. A K-Horror series, the name says it all.
Assassination Classroom. A misfits class gets trained to assassinate their teacher.
Deadly Class. High school for assassin teens.
Tomodachi Game. High school group forced to play mind games to clear debt.
Weak Hero Class 1. K-drama about a smart, quiet high fighting back against bullies.
Extracurricular. High school kids getting wrapped up in illegal business.
Night Has Come. A class gets forced to play a deadly real-life Mafia game.
Friendly Rivalry. Elite girls' high school with academic and social competition. Implied romance between the main characters.
