I coach cross-country skiing to kids in my town during the winter. My favorite sport to watch is hockey, specifically the NHL. I'm from a hockey town, so its a pretty important sport where I live. I played hockey when I was a kid, but it's crazy expensive. Good job on making the volleyball team!

THATS AWESOMEEEE!!! i wishh I lived in a hockey town ngl ;( what teams do you support??

I mean I like playing badminton casually but thats about it XD i dont tend to watch sports at all or play any on a team or something. I have played basketball in pickup games or with my dad before but nothing else really unless playing games in gym class counts XD

But good for you being on the team! bet thats gonna be fun hehe :D

I used to play voleyball! :D I also used to compete for school in track and field, sprint especially... Nowdays I just run as hobby but I set myself goal to win sprint triahlon in my city one day... just have to learn how to swim lmao

Good luck for voleyball! Hope you have fun! for me it was stressful during tournaments but fun either way

NO WAY NO WAY THATS SO AWESOMEEE!!!! what position did u play?? do u have any like general tips?? i also love running and i neeeed to do it more, honestly its super rewarding :)))

Haha cant really say what position I played since you rotate ! I played everything, but I was best under net tbh, middle, and rough for me was being setter.

Best tip for you, especially when you are a hitter.. ALWAYS go for the ball even if you think it may be out! a lot of times I though it will be out and it was right on the line.. so always to be safe go for the ball if its going for you. Always scream "ME" when going for ball so you wont collide with other player and to inform everyone you are going for the ball. Ngl its been ten years since I last played but all you need is to be confident in your hits and serve, always hit ball with your whole hand.

As setter always before starting hit a ball against the floor as a warm up, it really helps to set timing and position for the ball <3

THAT IS SUCH AWESOME ADVICE THANK YOUU!!! dude honestly im thinking about mostly playing setter because im only like 5'5 and dont u need to be super tall to play everything else? other than libero?

plus setter seems really cool, unless im mistaken and its actually awful LOL, what is ur experience playing setter like?

also do you have any advice for jump serves? even though I dont think ill do many of them in actual matches, I still wanna learn. I also need to get wayy better at my overhead passes.

waaah I was awful at being setter since I actually had the problem with hitting the ball with my whole hand! So I either send the ball too far or it didnt even went over the net :"))) I was awful, it got better over time, especially when I started to hit the ball agsinst the floor before starting! :DD

Sadly I wasnt making jump serves since they were so hard for me omg 😭😭 I tried sometimes, it gives you power you need but it takes time to properly learn them! But im sure you will learn everything needed during trainings and from players who play longer! thats how I learned most of things, other players :D
