soo i want to start taking art commissions but i want to know 1. if my art style is appealing enough for ppl to want to buy things draw in it 2. about all the diff scammers n 3. about if i should take money up front, at end, or half half, b4 i start taking the comms

hello ! i definitely recommend ALWAYS taking some sort of payment up front whether it is half, or the full payment. if you wait until after you're finished and send the final product you have a higher chance of the commissioner potentially stealing your work (especially if it's a scammer).
as far as your style, i personally find it appealing ! but just make a note that art is always subjective and people may or may not find it appealing. there's always room for improvement ! even popular artists and commissioners are always making time to brush up on their skills, so i recommend that.
i think the hard part is just figuring out how to market your artwork in order to make those commissions happen. a good way to see what works is to look at what other artists are doing to market their commissions. for example, i know on tiktok a lot of people do trends where they show off how long a commission took and the speedpaint of it. there's lots of other ways to market, i just recommend studying up.
