i think you dont have to be good in the game or a professional like other youtubers to make content of it, everyone has their way of playing, so you can do that whenever you want!!

Honestly, I've started playing Minecraft like way back 2014 and i could say I've improved a lot but I don't think I'm a professional. LOL XD
I don't really play anymore, I stopped like back in 2022 for whatever reason then came back in like last year then played for a bit then stopped.
I don't know why, maybe the passion wasn't there anymore.
I think you should start anyway if you want to. :)
