let me nerd out, and it defo won't be the last time.
I grew up with monster high, the cartoonish version, and then also the movies and the og dolls ofc I'm even now a skullector doll collector because the obsession never died, I mean how could it ? u can't sit there and tell me MH isn't one of THE coolest kids franchises. this is why I think its sick, every character has insane lore all based around iconic characters , mythology, cryptids and monsters. its fascinating especially as a horror and history lover. not to mention the absaloutley divalicious outfits the have as a base character and in all the different movie aesthetics and cultures. they ate down with that iconic 2000s era, its so sad what they've done with the newer versions but suppose it still good MH lives on in some way but ik damn well my kids will be on that good shii.

i was obsessed with MH when i was younger and never managed to give my old dolls away, simply loved them too much!
do you have a favourite character both lore-vise and design-vise??
and that's how ik ur a diva. defo love alottt of characters for different reasons but a couple I love are elissabat as I like to think she's my lookalike and we both love film and that old timey vamp look, then I love ghoulia cuz u gotta love a nerd and practically every movie or episode she was needed lol, I think twylaa is so underrated I love her design and lore being the daughter of the boogeyman I see myself in her as a quiet girl plus she loves some sarcasm and dark humour, similarly I like scarah screams her 60s inspired design is so cutee aswell as being irish so she's my Celtic twin I love how they tied it in with her lore being a banshee and witchy things are just slay in general (also cool skills like telepathy and flying) to stop myself from rambling some honourable mentions are operetta as a music lover and she's not afraid to say things how they are she's pretty iconic, Rochelle goyle is super pretty design and colour wise, the Paris vibes are so chic but contrasting with being a gargoyle and her personality sometime being seen as aggressive lol sorry for the ramble but what abt u id love to know ur favs or fav movies lol :p

ohh great picks! i also really adored twyla, i was also a rather shy/quiet girl lol. But when i initially came into contact with MH i loved Draculaura and naturally "Why Ghouls fall in love" was my favourite movie for a while. I was weirdly fixated on vampires when i was younger so i guess it was pretty on brand. But looking back id say it would be either "13 Wishes" or "Scaris: City of Frights"
But other than that and well as i got older i also really liked Robecca Steam, she was just sooo beautiful to me, i sadly never had her doll. My favourite dolls were from the gloom and bloom line! The Jane Boolittle doll remains my favourite to this day!!

why r we literally the same person. ofc who dosent love draculaura and that's probs why I was so interested in elissabat cuz she's the slightly more mysterious draculaura lol and why do ghouls fall in love was sooo good and such a classic. I don't think my obsession with vampires ever stopped lmao so I get u girl but 13 wishes and scaris is easily the best ones they're just so nostalgic!
