ive seen so many people within the LGBTQ+ community against microlabels (berrisexual, Omnisexual, almondsexual, etc..) its so odd to me? however someone labels themselves shouldnt make you so angry. "it makes us look like a joke" homophobes hate us no matter what, who cares man ?? idk I just wanted to talk about this

imo trying to pander to the people who already hate us is stupid in general like. they already see us as a joke (or far worse things). why are we infighting about something as stupid as who's label is "less weird" it just gives us more enemies than we would have if we as a community stopped trying to pander to the people who already hate us.
tbh in general im fed up with microlabel discourse to the point where if someone's argument against one is just that its weird/silly/doesnt make sense i do not care anymore. let people be weird, even
