depends on what you want to do; as a former bandlab user (switched to fl back in november) i must say that bandlab is really really limiting and should mainly just house song ideas rather than songs

dive into a bunch of genre tutorials until u feel comfortable with making 1, always try to make a song even if its not good its progression
