This has been on my mind for the LONGEST time EVERRRR!!! I wanna dress alternately so so so so sooooo badly, but I don’t like standing out too much. Any tips on how to dress SUBTLETY alternately?? I already enjoy a lot of alt music, but I wanna look the part too. QUICKKK!! I GO BACK TO SXHOOL SHOPPING SOOOOOONNN (P.S. I’m black, and I don’t like straightening my hair a lot, so please don’t tell me to do that.) (P S S S SSSS I love how nice people are on this website !!)

honestly? just wear clothes you think you look good in. go to hot topic, they have some good shit lately. get some cool ass pants and a hoodie or some graphic tees and youre good to go, and its not so extreme that people will stare. and if you like makeup, try putting some like, dark and smokey eyeliner or maybe even something bright and colorful!!

i mean to be scene/emo all u rly need is skinny jeans n graphic tees of any sort, but especiallu band tees! ive seen alot of black ppl style their hair in scene ways without straigneing on tiktok, u just need a deep side part, ive also seen it be done with locs 😳😳
def thrift alot, its sosos good to find genuine good emo/scene clothes!! and to u not wanting to stivk out, thats understandble but tbh u shouldnt care if u do bcs it matters if UUU like it, what others think does NOOTTT matter at all as long as u feel cool n awesome!!
