The title is kinda wrong but also not. New games today CAN be fun to play by yourself or with friends. However, the feeling of games today dom't hit the same as games 15 years ago. For example, the new Halo is fun imo, it has the feeling of what halo is. But it isnt the same feeling as Halo Reach or Halo 3. They had online lobbies full of life and mild trash talking, and they had campaigns that didn't seem like they were rushed or were reruns of old campaigns.
Like I said, games today are fun imo, but arent the same feeling as old games.

i think its because most non-indie games now are made w profit in mind and not creativity or passion, whereas back then it was more of a innovative thing if u catch my drift
