I know someone else made a blog about this not too long ago but why does no one comment or even like blog posts? I was scrolling through blogs and I noticed that 2/3 of them had no comments and no likes. I guess some people do make really short blogs but a lot of them don’t even look that hard to respond to
I admit ive also been lazy with commenting too, but when I do I usually just agree or disagree with them and share my point/opinion/experience to further connect with the poster. It’s not really that hard.
I’m guessing more people are in the forums which I barely look at

Tbh the exposure of a blog really depends on how many friends u have and at what time u post (bc more people are likely to see the blog in recent posted blogs).
Otherwise, some blogs have really confusing titles and others straight up make no sense/ have no context or have multiple parts…
The thing is, people like me will not put max effort into understanding the blog of a stranger.
I’ll read a rant or two but I’m not gonna follow a three part story/rant if I don’t follow the poster (unless it’s really interesting ofc)
That’s why the titles/ blogs that are more popular are relatable, easily interactive or have really „clickbaity“ titles (or as I mentioned before, were posted at a really good time)
There’s no algorithm.
If your blog gets lost, no one will see it

Edit: forgot to add that it’s difficult to answer to rants sometimes, esp when it’s highly personal and sometimes people don’t want to delve to deep into topics
Yeah, that’s fair. I think I’ve been really lucky with getting a fair amount of comments on my blogs. I just think the lack of comments is weird because of the amount of users here, but also I think a lot of people do just make blogs about gibberish. I’d expect more comments but still less than what a tiktok post would get yk?
