Hard time getting hooked on shows and movies

OMG DONT EVEEENN GET ME STARTED ON THAT ACTOR. Seriously, how hard is it to be a decent human being? The worst part is that I love the character he plays. I try not to think too hard about it and separate the character from the actor, but it ruins my mood seeing him on the screen playing Hyde. 
Also, stupid question, would you recommend The Sopranos? Might give it a watch if it's that good to watch it a second time

Yeah it's a great watch. It's kind of a character drama. The characters are very well written and even secondary non-important characters feel well-fleshed out with a life of their own going on. Also despite being a serious show the dialogue is really funny

But on a serious note, I find shows boring at times.Atleast you can finish a movie in 1 hour and 30 (or... 8 if you're more into niche experimental ones)

With shows it's all about the long game, but yeah, movies are easier on some level. But I'd say it's all about how intriguing the movie is. Like Pacific Rim, didn't think I'd like it, but it soon became one of my favorite movies

this is why I prefer movies BY A KILOMETER.I'd rather watch one story unfold in a matter of 2 hours than hour long episodes that barely move the plot on
