I wouldn't say I'm a young artist, but I am new to posting my art and finding spaces to be in. being in social spaces feels like I would grow and flourish in them because I am a rather social person, but being in online group chats feels more taxing than being in irl social settings. I want to find new people, but I don't think I have anything anyone would like or want to see. it is about finding people in your niche, but I don't even know what mine is.
still, i'm learning and growing without those social spaces, but i would like company. I just worry about how to find it while staying safe.

You just try to throw things at the wall and see what sticks, if it resonates with people then it does. But if it doesn't resonate with them... What will happen? You will be unseen and alone. Which is no different than posting nothing, so you may as well try. Just realize that ALL feedback including negative feedback is actually positive feedback for your life if you have the right attitude! 😁

thank you so much!! i will try to keep that in mind. i do post some, but not a lot a lot. i think i need to get back into posing, not sure, tho.

Also if you want to have company while staying safe it really comes down to just not revealing any personal info, e.g. your name, address, location (even city, unless you always use a vpn) (state might be okay without a vpn though), phone number, pictures of your house or outside of it, and pictures of yourself irl.
you can do pretty much anything you want as long as you NEVER give up any of those things, or you just give out fake info to throw them off.
Opsec starts at day one! 😘
I had a group of cyber/hacker type friends who tried for almost a decade to find me/dox me every day and they never succeeded because I rigidly followed never giving out anything real that could be tied back to me.

I get that.. it’s like mega scary as hell, but sometimes you just need to find a way to express yourself in a way you personally enjoy.. most times it’s just posting your art and finding that community that like it! It tends to lead to groups, friends and so on. You just have to have faith in yourself, even if you don’t know what your ‘niche’ is, it’s your journey and that’s up to you to decide when and where!! If you want to find places maybe art servers or platforms to start? You may find people you like there and form a group of your own to flourish in. Just a suggestion :3
