I'm genuinely curious: does anyone still use landline phones? Not just "my grandma uses one," but actually uses them in their daily lives.
And anyway, is a landline phone expensive? We had one once, and I still remember how we used it, but I didn't even know it cost money.

Oh yeah i still do, our wifi provider has the option for VoIP (voice over IP aka wifi calls) with our router. The one we have has 2 phone ports, we have a landline hooked up to it we make calls with still from time to time. I used to have 2 phones hooked up in my room at one point to make calls to my friends from time to time!!

We used to have a landline but got rid of it as our phone company got rid of 3G. I have no idea if there's still landlines that uses modern networks for commercial use so you might have to research into it.
