Today's Theme: ⭐ Digital Art and Traditional Art mediums⭐
⚠️DISCLAIMER⚠️ I am solely talking about my experience with these mediums, it is not meant to upset or criticize anyone :3
✨First up the Digital art medium! ✨
The learning curve on that one was super hard :0 especially since I started with traditional art and didn't pick up digital art until I actually got a tablet rather recently, the problems weren't with the art program but rather with the scale and functions of it all. 🤔 Still this medium has become one of my favorites especially since the broad selections of tools, brushes and vast color spectrum allow me to draw more accurately to my imagination :3 the only thing that's super hard for me still is drawing sketches XD that's why mostly do them traditional X3
✨Speaking of Traditional Art, let's talk about that next yes? ✨
The traditional art medium is easily my absolute favorite way of drawing anything, mainly since I have been drawing with pen and paper since I was able to hold a pencil X3 tho using coal, graphite, oil- or acrylic paint is also always amazing to me (I still mostly stick with pencil and paper tho). The only thing that always bugs me about traditional art is the priciness of it all, you can make beautiful pieces with cheap supplies yes but for me it's still a peeve when it doesn't look exactly the way I imagined it Dx, still I am and forever will be a traditional artist <33
Digital art is fun too and I will continue drawing digitally as well but old habits dir hard XD

Both traditional and digital art has their own advantages and disadvantages imo as someone who draw both digital and traditionally. traditional art feels easier and more comfy to do, but the supplies are rather pricey for my budget, vulnerable to errors and damages and a little tricky to get certain effect we want. thus digital art is more cheaper, efficient, with lots of filters and effect we can apply, the layers to make separate parts, and also assets we can get anywhere and put it into the art, but it is a bit more uncomfortable when you don't have a good device and don't used to it (as someone who draw in freestyle (i don't really remember the exact word, but it's a term for someone who draw without sketching first), it always look horrible in digital art that i often gave up and delete it before i even finish)
Exactly my thoughts! Both mediums have their own unique qualities and also disadvantages but they are both great art forms, all art forms are (except for AI ofc bcuz fuck that, it's just lazy slop-)
but I for instance work around the fact I can't freestyle on a digital device by sketching my drawing in pencil on paper first, taking a pic and then turning it digital :3 if ya wanna know more about the process I'll be happy to share :))

Tradition drawing has always been hard for me since it doesn't come as naturally as graphic design. While I do draw from time to time, I'm mostly overpowered by personal thoughts to continue. Glad to see you've continued to keep going for so long!
Totally can relate to that! :0 I really appreciate the compliment too <3 everyone has their thing that works for them no? ^^ it may not always be easy but once one finds their rhythm they will never stop dancing :3
