There's something special about 2000s music that feels completely different to me. It's like it wasn't just music, it was more like a feeling. The era as a whole was special and made me feel free.
From pop and R&B, to crunk, hip hop, Rock, and early electronic music, the early 2000s gave me so many sounds and memories that still live with me today. The songs, fashion, music videos, and artists from that era helped shape my personality and the way I see creativity. It made me dream bigger and fall in love with music and pop culture in a way I didn't think I would.
For those reasons, the 2000s will always be my favorite decade for music. Its a big piece of my childhood and my identity. Even now, hearing a throwback song can instantly take me back to a certain moment, a certain feeling or version of myself that I never want to forget. Is it just. me that feels this way? as someone who was born around mainly rnb and hiphop and pop music i can agree they just feel likee ... real music. and it just feels like home and some of them good stories within their lyrics and the bridge of songs were everything too i feel like music today is just shorter and just for those with shorter attention spans which i can understand
It sucks that everything is shorter now but I get that we're in a different time. W'ere no longer the ones being catered too.
