I know my mom is only joking when she says that I should start a business with my crocheting and doll repaints but I lowkey kinda don't want to... I just love doing it for the love of the game yk? I hate how fiber artists are always told to start a business. Problem is shit is expensive and takes so much time as much as I love giving out gifts to people I can't be giving out dolls or crochet pieces all willy nilly. Its weird though, I know a lot of artists don't like this but if someone were to be like "make me a doll or crochet item and I'll pay for the materials" I would 100% do it in a heartbeat. Idk whats the difference in that vs taking commissions but that scenario just seems more appealing to me. You guys know what I mean? I think putting myself out there for commissions just feels more like a job while someone organically coming up to me and asking for something feels like another opportunity to do what I love? IDK

¡Eso mismo estoy sintiendo con mi bordado! I really try to create just for the love to create but I can't say I don't love when my friends ask me to make them something in exchange of money. And it's very scary when you take a job from a stranger because what if they don't like it???? ughhh
still, maybe we have to give it a go???
