Everybody knows the emo trinity is My chemical romance, fall out boy, and panic! At the disco. Great artists who did shape the emo scene. The only thing is, they aren’t emo! And many people in the alternative scene know this. But these bands are excepted by the emo community as basically honorable mentions . But people are mistaking them as emo and only listening to them. And then proceeding to call themselves emo… ofc emo people can listen to them and still consider themselves emo but you also gotta listen to actual emo music……. And screaming fall for you at emos isn’t funny your just lame….

i've been saying this. I feel like P!ATD should be replaced by Paramore in the trinity. AFYCSO is their most emo album, and it's more like genre-bending stuff, and then the rest of the music is just pop

I understand why they added panic since they signed under fall out boy making them the “ son” and fall out being the “ father” but I feel like paramore deserves its flowers more honestly
