I need help

Hello everyone! I'm looking for advice this time.

I get really bad anxiety about things that

1. aren't real

and

2. are uncontrollable

Recently that anxiety has been targeting rabies exposure and sepsis despite me having neither and having 0 contact with anything that would cause those things (but this is unimportant.) My question is does anyone have any tips on how to stop anxiety? Ignoring it definitely helps, talking myself through it usually helps momentarily but then makes it worse. I've tried tips and tricks like putting citric acid on my tongue or snapping a bracelet or just going to sleep early. Ironically the thing that's helped me the most is taking ashwagandha gummies before bed. BUT all of these things are only temporary and for several hours every night I will occasionally feel a strange sensation in my arm I'll freak out!

If any unmedicated anxiety warriors are seeing this, please let me know your tricks.

hmmm i had some strong health anxiety surrounding cancer and actually i still do but not as bad. oh and just generally anxiety about things. what i remember helping was ignoring things and sometimes imagining i swallowed whatever pills help with anxiety and just focusing on the non-existent pill i swallowed & pretending it was doing its job if that helps? also just denying myself of the anxiety like "actually i am in perfect health thank you very much". I dont know if any of that is very helpful for you because also my anxiety largely got better when my other mental health struggles got addressed and I worked on those </3

This is definitely helpful thank you!
