TOP TEN FAVORITE CANDIES (that aren't chocolate)

y'all know what we came here for. to the UNDERWORLD with formalities, les get into it!!

10. laffy taffy -- there is something HEAVENLY about how soft n waxy it feels, and i like all the flavors (save for banana), and the jokes just make the experience. like the sweet tooth's fortune cookie!

9. caramel creams -- underrated classic, always there when you need 'em at penny candy stores! these thingies get me caramel-dancin!' (ba-dum tss :D)

8. nik'l nips -- these bottles of pure sugar n microplastic always let me live the dream of there actually being liquid inside those gummi soda bottles. i can't be the only one who thought there actually was!!

7. gummi soda bottles -- 'nuff said. actually we can extend this to gummis that look like anything (bears, worms, sharks, frogs, human brains, etc.)

6. nerds -- some of them end up on the floor unless you eat 'em the way god intended and pour the box's content right in ur mouth :3

5. skittles -- BRING BACK DARKSIDE SKITTLES PLSSSSS YOU BROUGHT BACK LIME JUST GIMME THE EDGY MIDNIGHT CANDIESSSS

4. sour patch kids watermelons -- sure, sure, OG sour patch ain't bad, but the watermelon ones were my childhood (haven't tried the newer strawberry ones, but i'll post a blog of new candy taste tests soon!)

3. dum-dums -- SO MANY FLAVORSSSSSS u can't go wrong. 'cept for the cherry one, imo it tastes like cough syrup, blech! XP

2. atomic fireballs -- another old-school classic. love me cinnamon gum, but the flavor is just like my golden years in school...short-lived. but with these jawbreakers it's like they cranked up a furnace and is burninating my tongue!!

1. jolly ranchers -- i remember the speech therapist at my kindergarten having these, and i always went for the blue ones but any of 'em are good. ANY AND ALL! an office of my university has 'em, too, so it looks like history does repeat itself...
