Guys (shse fans), please, don’t attack me but lowk…. It’s just so peak. They just match each others’ energy sooo well.
At first, I was suspicious, as anyone might be bc yk, they never interacted with each other in the show (or even the manhwa). Add to that, when we saw Seongje in suho’s hospital, idk about u, but I was so scared that Seongje was gonna pull the life support out 😭. Like it genuinely seemed like smth he’d do. Alas, suho was fortunately safe ^^
But basically, on ao3, I came across this fic.. it was called Two Menaces, and I’m ngl, the title literally explains the plot so well. It’s just Suho and Seongje just being 2, inseparable, little shits together. The way the author writes it, I guess you the reader could choose to see it as them two having like a platonic relationship or smth more. It’s joked about in the fic that those two literally act like boyfriends sometimes, but like Suho does still like Sieun, and Seongje does like Gotak. BakuxBaekjin is also canon in here… I think.. idk, but Baekjin 100% like Baku, seems lowk one sided tho.
However, idk if I’ve alluded to this or not, but this fic takes place after when Eunjang fought the Union, and unfortunately falls under it. This means that the earlier og storyline has also changed a bit.
- Suho and Sieun never met at eunjang, Suho was always in Ganghak where he meets Seongje
- Sieun was kicked out of his old school after like yeongbin like drugged him and whatever, and all that shit
- in this fic Suho never got into a coma! (Yay ^^)
- so now, Sieun is in eunjang and Suho is in Ganghak, this is the reason why Eunjang lost, it was bc Suho and Seongje fighting together were just too much. As i said earlier, Suho just matches seongje’s energy so well (and vice versa) so yeah, not rlly eunjang’s fault
There are other slight changes to the storyline other than these things, but like the chapter 1, chapter notes in the fic goes over it all.
So yeah, take this as your sign to read smth new. New ship, new dynamic, the plot I’d say is pretty light, so it’s a very fun read. Good as like a refresher between rlly angsty fics. If anyone wants to read it (pls do) here’s the link:

When i first read this blog i got a bit scared, because i feel like the canon versions in the series would not get along at all. As from my perspective Suho does not like thugs and jerks like Seongje at all, but if its fanfic i bet it makes more sense, as thats not canon lol.
Still sounds like a fun ship!! I really hope Seongje and Suho get some fun scenes together in 3s(If they actually go through with it) as i feel like they would be a really good duo. Though i think they wont be exactly friends in the series, as Seongje will prob become one of the main "villians" lol.
Haha yeah it's definitely not canon and would never be but the author kinda just went with both characters' laid back, unserious attitudes and ran with it lol.
And yessss I can't wait for them two to meet each otherr. Both characters were fan favourites of each season, so I wonder how the director would explore their interactions. Yk how like Gray and Donald lowk mirrored each other, i think that suho and seongje also do. They were both lonely before sieun, good fighters.. idk man. But u kinda get where I'm getting at..? Maybe?? Like 2 sides of the same coin, suho is like staying to morals or like hopeful still and seongje just gave up on life (😭?).
After season 2, the director has full control of where he wants the show to go bc there's no manhwa to base it off anymore. Not that the show was that similar to it anyway lol. But yk more freedom = more ways the show can go so like more creative freedom. Highk excited even if it won't come until like minimum 5 years later (😔).
And finally, mb for scaring u loll 🥹🥹

Yeah really excited for the new season if it will come out, will be a bit weird seeing men over thirty play teens though, but cant wait!!
