The birthday of a friend of mine is coming and I usually go to Canvas and make a card for him but yknow the styles in Canvas sometimes look so generic after all these years so I was wondering if yall got a good design idea cause I know tis place got some cool art styles.

you know personally I love recreating themed cards to look like old punk band flyers with a bunch of text with different fonts, decorative flair to mach the theme, and printed with black and white ink and on neon color paper. I'd recommend just looking up "band flyers archive" and see what catches your eye.
most of the time you really can't go wrong to copy the formats to a degree. but you can also go vintage
