im not unjustifying your point but were they sharing their view or were they actively being a pedophile ( not defending them in any way )
the death penalty was more sharing their views, but the pedophile part was more so pushing at them trying to say we shouldn't want the death penalty for pedophiles because then kids would know that they were possibly killing a man let me see if I can put the link in the comments to the post
