At my school, one of our old photography teachers made an archive of all of the websites that previous seniors have made. I was looking through these the other day and found these beautiful photos put with profound thoughts and feelings and I just wonder what it takes to even reach that? Is it suffering? Is it love? I'm sure I've had some thoughts that were like damn but I haven't put too much thought into it until recently. Perhaps it's from reading or consuming media that isn't made to satisfy for 3 seconds until onto the next one.
Sometimes it's not even from previous seniors but even from my friends that I have now, when I go through their black books or sketchbooks sometimes I'll find these beautiful poems and it's like damn bitch! Who hurt you? or who loved you.... I guess some people are just more inclined like that.

I'm not saying that you should just copy and paste whatever u see but a big part of creating art is using your influences and stuff u like to make something new. You could ask ur friends what their influences are so you can check them out. That's also just the easiest way to find other similar artists you could like and eventually use as inspo for a piece of your own!!!
