Honestly, I really liked these commercials..... These are actually quite impressive because of how well animated were these.
But then I think the problem is, these were on the wrong demographic.
The demographic they were catering this on is not the right demographic for these kind of commercials and I think they should've scrapped this concept.
This is pretty much gonna be in bad taste for the general public in UK and that's what happened and these commercials got a lot of heat because of that.
I feel like, if a Japanese Television Network like Nippon TV made these kind of commercials instead and aired it over in Japan, these would've been nicely appreciated over there.
This is pretty much right up on their alley and these kind of commercials would've fared much better in Japan.

From what little I've seen of Japanese TV ads... yeah, I can see why they would be far better received over there than over here. The concept is very cool, and the CGI is pretty good for 21 years ago, but at the same time it's all pretty damn unnerving, uncanny valley 2000s kids show CGI and Teletubbies notwithstanding. A slightly more culturally acceptable option might have been stitching together thousands of the programs on those channels, like that one variant of the Disney intro cinematic on Blu-Ray, but I wonder just how memorable it would have been if that were the case.
That Disney intro one looked really good to be honest.
But I think it for a culturally acceptable one with this one.
Maybe a bunch of flying CRT Television Units where at the beginning the man and on the other version a woman would be shown.
Then a bunch of other television units with the programs could be shown flying around the area.
Just without the head morphing and for the Bob The Builder one on the other version it's just gonna show a CRT Television Unit floating on the sea showing Bob The Builder and behind that one a bunch of CRT Television Units could be seen flying around.
I think that might've gone well over on the UK.
