"new" phone

my third phone! why do i need three of them? i don't even need two haha

i wanted to get an android flip phone for some time now simply because i like the idea. unfortunately there's not much to chose from (for me specifically + there's not much variety on the market) was looking into kyocera and fujitsu flip phones and almost bought one 

then i saw this samsung galaxy folder2 for half the usual price... the reason - doesn't turn on after laying around for years. immediately bought it because i was just SURE that the problem will be fixed with a simple battery replacement

and it was even easier than that since i put the old battery to charge for half a day and it all started to work. still need a new one but it's only going to arrive in a week or so

i don't really like the color but i managed to find some stickers that look nice with it :)

all of my phones - that samsung folder2, pixel 7 and sony ericsson z530i

folder2 is SO big that it looks a bit ridiculous in my hands. or maybe i have tiny hands

previous owner engraved russian letters as well so it's a bit easier to type using the buttons but i haven't got used to this yet so i just use touch screen instead

tried to root it to replace google services with microg but it didn't work ugh. i think it's not the original system here already because i only saw those with android 6 or 7 and mine is android 9 for some reason

anyway if i will be able to set up vpn on it i might use it as a dumb phone. i don't think i need one though since i barely use social media

but i like the idea of flip phones a lot so yeah ^^
