how would i go about making it so that my little custom mouse cursor , changes to another cursor/icon, when hovering over a clickable, link, profile, etc - signifying you can click there
ive actually tried some thingsbut they DONT WORK and im had to stop and take abreak because i was going crazy, anyways . How Me Do?!

«pointer» in this case is required in the syntax and will tell the browser to use the default pointer if it can't use the custom one. Note that browsers do not support animated cursors (.ani or .gif) but .png and .cur are okay. :) Some custom cursors' click points will be "off" and won't point to elements correctly. In that case you can fix the misalignment with CSS like this:
Where the numbers will tell the browser where the click point (formally called a «hotspot») of the cursor is. In this case, 0 0 is the top left corner (because cursors usually face the top left corner). The values are in pixels and larger values will offset the hotspot from that top left corner.
I also like to select «button» elements alongside «a» because there are a lot of buttons on FriendRewind profiles that call for the pointer cursor. There are other elements that need more specific selectors; you can inspect my profile to see how I did it. Let me know if you still have doubts!
YESS this worked after slamming some stuff around and i found a thread elsewhere about a simple cursor swap, and now its working decently,
