i keep seeing vids about people hyperfixating on ariana grande's illness and while we should definitely admit that she and other celebrities participating in this are sick, the fact that this weird culture in general is back in full swing means something completely different than it did in the early 2000s with models and actresses passing out at red carpets
this ozempic thing has been foreshadowed for at least 2 years now, and it's not just because they wanna profit off of young womens insecurities further but to condition us to see bodies like this as normal. to prepare for the crisis we are living in right now at this moment:
no one wants to eat and if you do manage to you're still starving bc the food is not real. "organic" is too expensive and is not actually organic & its illegal to grow your own crop. obv this is not something that happens overnight. campbell ceo called his own soup poor people slop. what used to be ice cream is legally required to be labelled "frozen dessert" bc it's not considered ice cream. if you're malnourished your body is in constant fight or flight mode, you're an asshole to your peers due to irritability, and you have no energy to think for yourself
yet everyone is in tiktok comments arguing about whether the skinny celeb is pushing eds onto her audience on purpose, putting their feet into shoes that are so far removed from society. defending and empathizing with someone who is being paid to manipulate them, because deep down they want the only problem in their life to also be these useless social battles the rich have when they're bored

While technically you did fall for the rage bait by making a giant post about it, it was worth it to engage because you bring up a lot of important nuanced discussion on the topic past the propaganda. Thanks for the enlightenment! I never thought of the connection between ozempic this way. :3
I just think that these celebs are often times VERY fragile psychologically and it goes the other way around. Like Jeanette McCurdy from iCarly wrote a book called I'm glad my mom died, and it was about how she was basically programmed by her mom to stay thin and therefore she would age/develop less fast and be smaller which would make her a better actor to outperform other younger kids in the same roles. So she developed anorexia then bulimia. So maybe Grande was told she needed to not look old, and she was actually the most pressured by people. So she ended up taking ozempic and looking like an old zombie anyways...
Imo now that I think about it a lot of the celebs taking ozempic is really an advert against weightloss drugs because they all look like ugly aliens the way it disproportionately removes their fat from them. It even has a thing now called "ozempic face".
Also fun fact, not eating at all like you do on those weightloss drugs makes you lose muscle since the people aren't consuming their maintenence protein requirement which makes their basal metabolic rate go down (You burn less calories by default) so when you get off of the drugs then you are just as hungry as you used to be and you get fatter quicker. Leading to a cycle of feast and famine, huge profits for the pharmacueticals, and a weaker nation all the way. ;3
i notice a lot of shit with pop culture just reflects the control were under, the things they want us to focus on that brings them more profit, like charlixcx brat summer pushing blow onto queer communities bc we both know who that benefits. a major b5nkc0mpany literally had their cargo ship full of snow taken im pretty sure that same year
