About Me

Hello everyone, I'm Flan! I'm 23 years old and am in PST. I recently graduated university with an interdisciplinary degree with a focus on foreign language and social studies. I'm chronically ill and cannot go out much due to it, so I spend a lot of time doing self study or partaking in my interests! I have a relatively large album and DVD collection, as well as several small collections such as Calico Critters and Monster High dolls. I'm a big fan of open world (gacha) games, I'm currently playing Where Winds Meet, Genshin Impact, Wuthering Waves, Honkai Star Rail, Minecraft, Overwatch, Marvel Rivals, and Infinity Nikki. I also like to draw occasionally. 

I personally enjoy these kinds of sites for longer and more thoughtful posts, so all though I might check in a few times to see if there's any interesting blogs, I will not be on it constantly throughout the day. Due to this, my responses to comments and messages may be a bit spread out. 

Common Blog Topics

Self Study: I spend a lot of time learning about topics I'm interested in, every now and then I play to give updates and recaps on what I'm learning. Some specific subjects might relative to languages, cooking, film studies, literature, or art practice. 

Life Updates: I don't have too much going on that happens, but from time to time I will have blogs discussing what's going on with my health, friends, family, recent happenings, etc. 

Media: I'm a collector of physical media (and not just because it's trendy) and love playing games, watching movies and series, and reading! I don't have the means to do it often but there will be occasional hauls/monthly recaps of things I've picked up, as well as a recaps here and there of things of watched, played, listened to, or read! I actively manually track everything I watch on  Letterboxd and Serializd. There may also just be random posts with reactions or reviews!

Do Not Interact/Friend

Although I often find these meaningless, I do know there are some people who will respect them and disengage if read. With that being said, I also block freely. If you're caught in that, it's not personal. 

I will likely block/ignore if I see: Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss, Arcane, NSFW/kinks, excessive discourse/drama, proship nonsense, self proclaimed "gooners", spam (e.g. lots of 1-3 sentence posts clogging blogs and bulletins), "edgy-ness"/trolling/contrarianism, bigotry, excessive flashing in layouts, excessive typing quirks, AI usage, etc. 

Although I have no problem with younger users, I will not be accepting any DMs or friend requests from those under 18. Blogs comments and what not are more than okay.
