in 2004 to 2006 there was an elephant in india that went rogue and began to kill around 27 within this time. because of this he got the nickname ‘osama bin laden’. on december 18 2006 the elephant was found near a tea plantation and with the help of the locals a hunter was able to shoot and kill the elephant.
but people are still sceptical that it was the right elephant because the previous sighting was far away from where it died.

from what i know the expansion of cities caused a lot of elephants natural habitats to be destroyed causing them to go into human populated areas. this elephant isn’t the only one to kill people around the same time over 250 people were killed 🙏
