I hate this year's World Cup. I hate how they ignore what is happening across Latin America, and I hate that they ignore ongoing wars simply because eleven guys are competing for a trivial trophy. I HATE HOW THE FAR-RIGHT IS GAINING GROUND WORLDWIDE AND EVERYONE STILL SAYS NOTHING

Fuck this world cup fr and how much it costed to organize it, some countries will never be able to host because of that sigh, and I'm not talking about some tiny tiny place on the map, but like some countries like italy could actually never do anything like that because of the cost, it is that insane

I feel you, honestly it is really hard to enjoy something like the world cup/sports knowing that there are ongoing issues that no one seems to speak on :(
Especially when some of those players are dealing with the loss of their own country or are dealing with hardships but cant say anything out of fear. I stopped watching it 4 years ago because honestly it was to much and I had much more important things to think about like current issues around the world!
I wish the world wasn't like this at all
