Plans for neocities website

So, i just realized you can literally code all your blog entries on here in HTML, yay!! Maybe I ain't gon' be all doom and gloom on here like I intended. I need the practice anyway, especially now that I'm actually tryin' to jazz up my site. I was gon' just be all sad n shit and just yap about my dysphoria, but now I'm inspired to write about happy stuff!

I should probably explain the idea behind the theme of the site itself, shouldn't I? Basically, it revolve around a story about a little star (AKA me) that was contained in a glass box. As it grew, the box soon became unbearable, and so in order to be able to live fully the star made the glass box shatter and it resulted in the ESSENCE (or core bein' in colored form) of the little star to become visible. The colors are as follows:

• Deep brown

• Dark green

• Gold

• Prussian blue

• ...and cherry red.

I want to make my site very spacey and undertale/deltarune themed. I used the souls from both games and recolored them to be all of the colors of the star's ESSENCE in Krita. Speakin' of Krita, I'm expectin' a drawin' tablet next month so hopefully I can digitize my artwork which will make everything a whole lot easier. I have no more storage on both my phone and Ipad (also, after usin' Krita, IbisPaintX just look like ass in comparison...), so all I really have is my traditional art supplies, funnelin' the art through filters in Krita to make it look cleaner. But really, the switch prolly won't be completely digital, cause I'm really lovin' the look of traditional work on websites and such!

There's also a link to something called the Dysphoria Archives, which was actually supposed to be a complete rebrand of my website but now I'm thinkin' against it. If y'all ain't already know (which I'm sure you didn't), I have a Substack where I post my essays and stories! I took a hiatus a few weeks ago because of gender dysphoria, I felt like I was writin' from a perspective that wasn't mine, really. I had made a ultimatum, that I would only come back when I could create a neutral-presentin' persona that I could draw and represent myself with (honestly, I'm pretty much there). I wanted to do the hiatus thing for my website too now that I'm really wantin' to indulge back into creative stuff, but I still wanted a personal site at the end of the day. I came to neocities for a reason: to escape social media. I should stay a bit truer to that.. Plus, the switch from quirky personal site to doom and gloom cry for help is a bit jarrin', right? So... why not just have both!! It ain't like I'm completely sad or happy all the time anyway. I have too many nerd interests to go complete emo. I can do both (lol)!

Anyway, next on my codin' list is figurin' out how to do this layout shit, both for profiles and blogs!! So, thanks for readin', if you done read this far, that is. I really like this site so far!
