After what Sony pulled three times today, one for deleting all the digital media that the consumers bought in the past years and seized all of physical copies by 2028 (which is where PS6 is gonna come in play), this is goes to show how out of touch these major corporation are! By getting rid of physical copy games, it'll just make it much worse because what if one day the server goes down because of a storm or natural disaster? What if Sony be a dick one day and deleted all of the digital games that you DON'T owned? Despite about 70%-90% of consumers are playing games via digital, People really need to think about this with the way things are going now! If they can delete your digital movies that you purchased for years without NO refund, what makes you think that they aren't gonna do this to digital games in the future!?

did you know that 1.00 version of most games is unplayable dogshit? no? well sadly that's the version that you get on a physical copy of the disc most of the time
games on physical media was pretty much dead ever since mid ps4 era
so yeah go on and jailbreak your ps4 it's not like there's much to preserve xoxo
I've been on PC since 2015 and i don't even owned a ps4 LOL
There are people that STILL buy physical copies on PS5 including my brother!

yeah it sucks, first the whole "wait 30 days so we can tell this copy of the game you bought with your money is yours" bs and now they're seizing the production of cds starting 2028. cds and disks as a whole may be becoming outdated but that doesnt change the fact that they're one of the only solid ways to have a piece of media thats ACTUALLY OWNED by you, in an age where the definition of owning media is becoming more and more dubious all thanks to weirdo ass companies like them ☹
