So after a good long while (few years) of depression lingering in the background of my life my face has become scarred by acne from a lack/bare minimum of self care. Like REALLY scarred. So now that I'm taking better care of myself I have 2 questions:
1) Is there a way to do makeup that can sort of minimise that scarring?
and
2) Even if now, how do I do makeup in general? Like just basic rundown and tips would be appreciated :D
I'm 6teen and feel really ridiculous at the fact idk how to and whenever some minimal lipstick or some shit was applied to me I felt kinda like a clown</3 I want to actually try :P
Any advice would be appreciated!! :D

hihi!!! honestly there isn’t a massive way in my experience to minimise acne scarring HOWEVER my advice is to focus on skin care because that will help the scaring ‘heal’ over time , the other advice i’d have is prime your makeup and set it very well and you’ll have to experiment what works for your skin type!! using heavy makeup probably isn’t a great idea if you have acne prone and reactive skin because it might make it worse - however !! my advice is base wise ; use primer ontop of skin care , then a light concealer (maybelline fit me is a good one) aswell as a powder contour or blush if you’re into that, doing eyebrows and mascara / lashes make a massive impact so tbh i’d focus on that aswell as eyeliner - and if you’re into lipstick find a good lipliner and a shade that suits your skin tone!! :333 good luck :P
