(Quick context - There was some flooding in my city that affected my basement, so my family and I moved all the stuff that could be saved into bins and into my backyard)

So my mom recently found my external disk drive that I've been looking for, but she found it in a bin outside and it was in water. She said that it has likely been in the water for a couple of days, but I think it's been there since we moved everything outside. So probably around a month.

I hope it can be saved and we won't need to buy another one, but I'm not sure :/ For now, I'm just letting it dry and periodically checking if it can work
