Excited for ILLIT's Comeback But Kinda Sad :(

For those who don't know, ILLIT is a K-Pop girl group that debuted in 2024. I became a fan of theirs during promotions for their second album, and they became my favorite group of all time! <3

They are having a comeback (K-Pop terminology for a new album basically) on October 26 and just started teasing their different album versions today. I am so happy that there are more pastels (especially pink) being used again because that soft, dreamy color palette they normally use was really lacking in their last two previous comebacks. The albums honestly look sooo pretty, so I preordered my top three favorites. (Mad Version, Photo Dump Version, and Quiet Version!)

So why would I be sad at all? Well, I realized that this is the first album where Moka, my bias (K-Pop terminology for favorite member), is fully absent. She is currently on hiatus and has been since the end of promotions for their last Korean comeback. She technically was on hiatus during their most recent Japanese release, but she still was present in the concept photos and sang some lines. It was really nice to see, so I was hoping that she would make an appearance at all for this new album, but unfortunately no. I am happy that she is putting her health first and taking a break, but she'll be missed for sure.

It will also be interesting to figure out a layout for the photocards this era since I collect all 5 members. Because one member is absent, I will have to get creative. I use both 5-pocket and 6-pocket binder pages, so I was thinking of maybe doing 1-2 pages for each member. That would be kinda cool!
