Fan logo & slogan for FriendRewind.

So, I've been spending some free time messing around with the profile since discovering FriendRewind. Cleaning things up, bringing back a bit of the little old school "MySpace" layout feeling, but also trying to make it feel a bit more like me. And now I'm sharing what was the fun part: Coming up with a logo and a slogan. Something to pay tribute to the site and it's users. Not that the original Logo is bad either. But, anyway I got to thinking.

It's a retro site, based off of what "Myspace" once was, and a retro item would be something like a cassette tape. I thought this because the sites name FriendRewind. Rewind stood out most to me so why not mix the old "Myspace" logo with a retro item like a cassette tape? Also, "Myspace" had a slogan "A Place For Friends" and what do you do to a cassette tape? What's in the name of the site? REWIND! so the slogan of "Where Friends Come Back Around" came to me because just like the songs on a cassette tape once rewound would then replay.... If FriendRewind were to be the next bigger social media instead of a sleazy "Myspace Comeback" your friends would be also "coming back around."

Simple huh? Okay maybe not so much for some...

Anyway, I wanted something that stood out, but still fit the whole vibe, a little nostalgic, looking like the old myspace logo. I'd say a little pirate, because it does have a bit of a pirate bay look, I wont deny... But I definitely did not want something that looked too polished or corporate.

So now my question is:

• **What do yall' think?**
• **Does the slogan and design fit?**

I'm Still brainstorming but for now I like where the idea is heading... 🎧💨🏴‍☠️

Am I onto something that clicks or sticks?.
