fandoms and being a fake fan?

so i rarely interact with stuff i am a fan of,which i guess means im not actually a fan?idk,cuz for ex.demon slayer (Giyu Tomioka),i was (still am) obsessed with Giyu,for a solid three years i watched basically only stuff about him,but i never actually watched the anime (i do have some of the manga but that's a recent development),idk something about anime makes me super uncomfortable,im 99% sure its the way characters breathe and the weird fighting noises they make (same thing with videogames).

then another ex.is FNAF,i watched theories,and fanmade stuff but i never played it or even watched any actual gameplay.

for both of these examples i do know the lore and characters and stuff,but i rarely if ever actually interacted with the original media,does that count as being a fake fan?
