All they do is scare the animals around the area and cause injuries. All the pro-firework takes I've heard are ass. "But thunderstorms do the same thing!" Yes, but fireworks are preventable. "But the injuries are the fault of the people who don't know how to use them!" Yes, but they can also injure other people in the process.
They pollute they cause animals to die from stress they trigger people's PTSD.
I understand that it's part of a celebration and bringing people together, but the negatives are too much for it to be even remotely ethical.

Honestly I was never interested in fireworks and they would hurt my ears bad. There has been attempts because it would "sound the same and wouldn't have people wondering what that loud bang was". Personally it does more harm than good. Its either you look at loud asf sparkles in the air or people die, severally injured, fires, and much more. there is more cons than pros. I've also SEEN people use actual firearms and just set fireworks on there own without any help. I wonder how that ends up like.. hmmm. Like yes you can celebrate 4th of july. I feel like we should use something different though or have an better alternative.

do not like them because they scare me and my kitty.. they are just so disrupting and harming. makes me wish they never exist.
Cat ears are very sensitive. I can't imagine how that kitty feels.

It would be alot better if we had communal fireworks, not really better for the environment but it would be done from professionals and we'd have not that many burning homes on these days
Like private ones banned but big cities do the organization for one professional firework
