first blog

to be honest i don't really know what to write about, but i'm gonna try and post at least one blog per month.

anyways, a few weeks ago i finished brewing my pale ale. it is quite possibly the most nondescript thing i've brewed. not bad by any means, just... boring. the only thought i had when i first tried it was "yup, that's beer". next time i'll try and use a combination of hops instead of sticking to just citra.

in other news, i'm seeing mephistofeles (for those who don't know, they're a stoner rock band and one of the few good things to come out of argentina) on friday which i'm incredibly hyped for. i'm usually not a big fan of the newer wave of stoner/psych rock but they're an exception. they slap. definitely gonna buy some band merch while i'm there. can't let myself get too drunk at the show because the day after i have to be in IRELAND , which is sick. 

despite having some connections to the country, i've never actually been to ireland. i haven't fully planned what i'm gonna do while i'm there, but i do know that i'm gonna treat myself to the delectable, fancy, high-class dining establishment that is abrekebabra. (p.s. if any dubliners are reading this, please comment the best bars/pubs in the city. i will love you forever if you do.)

on a side note, i've been listening to so much old school deep house lately and i feel like this image. y'all mind if a white boy speak a little jive?
