First Blog/ Big Thief Concert

hey:) this is my first blog!

I'm just going to talk about the Big Thief concert in Nashville on the 23rd of August. So, I went to Nashville with my dad the day before and checked out a few things around the city, and at the same time we got there they were these girls walking around in the ugliest camo shirt with hot pink lettering. we thought it was just a bar/bat mitzvah or a party or something, but we say another group of girls with the same shirt. then we saw like hundreds of people with the same shirt and it was crazy. turns out the shirts were for another concert of some random girl named Megan. her music was interesting. and we walked by the venue at around 7, like an hour before the concert started because there were 2 Big Thief shows, one on the 22 and one on the 23, and the line as so long. skip forewarned to the next day at like 5:00 and were back at our hotel getting ready and an hour later we leave at like 6:15, and the line was like a like mid length and we got pretty close up to the front. then a 7:00 we got into the venue and found our seat, which were on the floor and 7 rows away from the stage! then we went to the merch line, and it was SO long! we were like in the back at first and then more and more people kept coming into the line. It was so long it wrapped around the auditorium. then we got our merch and the concert was about to start and as soon as we got into our seats the show started, and it was PHENOMINAL! they played their entire unreleased album Horsepower and it was so great! I met these two girls in the front when trying to get a photo of the stage during intermission and we chatted for a little bit. after, we got shake shack since it was right across the street. For the merch, I got a shirt, the Masterpiece vinyl, the Concert Poster, and a Double Infinity tote bag for my dad. it was amazing.
