Hello world, I'm still new to friendrewind, but I love this community so far! Since I'm bored and also since Bring Me The Horizon is one of my fav bands, I've decided to rank every album/EP!
P.S. this is just MY personal opinion!! But feel free to add your thoughts!
11. This Is What The Edge Of Your Seat Was Made For EP (2004)
This was BMTH's debut EP. It's good old-fashioned deathcore that stands out from the rest of their discography. The chaotic riffs and vocals definitely elevate the experience. However, it's much more outdated and unpolished compared to their later work, which is why it's ranked last in my opinion.

10. Music to Listen To... (2019)
By far BMTH's most experimental work. I heard someone describe this album as "experiencing an acid trip," which is certainly true. I love the ambient, mysterious feel of this album, and the creativity caught my eye. Although it's not downright awful, the rest of their work is miles ahead.

9. Count Your Blessings (2006)
This is vintage deathcore BMTH, an album that pioneered Myspace-era deathcore as a whole. It features many of BMTH's classics, and Oli's vocals sound insane! Lee (lead guitarist) also does a great job at the many intricate, fast-paced riffs you hear in the tracks. I think the album fell victim to poor production, but it contributed to helping CYB feel more raw. BMTH evolved much more beyond this album, but it remains a landmark of the 2000s deathcore scene. I will be ranking the repented version btw!
Favorite Song: (I Used To Make Out With) Medusa
8. Suicide Season (2008)
This is another classic BMTH album! The production is definitely an upgrade from CYB and still holds up to this day! This album stands out because it feels like a perfect storm of raw deathcore and 2000s metalcore. The songs here (Chelsea Smile, Diamonds Aren't Forever, etc.) are always something that feels great to go back and re-listen to!
Favorite Song: Death Breath
7. That's The Spirit (2015)
This album was my very introduction to BMTH! For me, this is what definitely feels the most mainstream compared to the rest of BMTH's work. There are a lot of gems in here that I love (cough cough Drown), but also some tracks that I don't love as much. Overall, I think the album feels very polished, and the electronic/pop elements mix very well!
Favorite Song: Drown, close second is Avalanche and I hope they put it back on the setlist someday :(
6. Count Your Blessings | Repented (2026)
I know that this may be recency bias, but please hear me out. 20 years after the original CYB, during which the band went through many eras and sound changes, and the fact that they can still do deathcore is INCREDIBLE. The production is a major step up from the original, Oli's vocals are even more insane, Lee is still a riff master, and Mat is a force of nature on the drums! My only nitpick is that there are some parts in the album where the drums drown out the rest of the song, but other than that, this album felt very refreshing to listen to.
Favorite Song: Still Medusa, but Dehumanized is a banger!
5. amo (2019)
I know this is the most divisive album in BMTH's discography, but please hear me out (again)! I think this album holds up very well. Some of Oli's best songwriting is present in this album, and I love the way it mixes EDM/pop with rock, similarly to That's The Spirit. This is a major departure from their normal sound, but they handled it so well.
Favorite Song: sugar honey ice & tea
4. Post Human: Nex Gen (2024)
There's something about this album that feels REALLY good to listen to. A lot of the songs are very catchy! Tracks like spiritual and R.i.p. are very experimental, but you also have more emo/pop-punk songs like Lost (which really reminds me of I'm Not Okay by MCR which was definitely an inspiration), and then heavier songs like Amen. This album feels like everything about BMTH in one package, and that's why I love it!
Favorite Song: Strangers (close 2nd is Top 10 statues)
3. Post Human: Survival Horror EP (2020)
This is part 1 of BMTH's Post Human series (Nex Gen being part 2), and it definitely sets the tone for what Nex Gen later incorporated. I love the theme of this EP, how the lyrics resemble a dystopian society, which perfectly resembles the 2020 COVID lockdown. I rank it a bit higher than Nex Gen because the sound feels more consistent throughout the entire album.
Favorite Song: Parasite Eve
2. There Is a Hell... (2010)
It's fascinating how this album has existed for 16 years, and the quality still holds up after this long. This is BMTH's first magnum opus. There Is a Hell has Oli's best songwriting in my opinion, and the lyrics have so much emotional depth. The orchestral elements feel great on songs like Crucify Me and It Never Ends, and the breakdowns hit. They REALLY hit. This would be their best album if it weren't for the other masterpiece they released 3 years later.
Favorite Song: Alligator Blood
1. Sempiternal (2013)
Sempiternal is the perfect bridge between BMTH's past sound and their modern sound. Similarly to There Is a Hell, the songwriting has much emotional depth, but the production- everything from the electronic elements to the heavier metalcore elements- sounds insane. It was hard deciding between this album and There Is a Hell, but I think Sempiternal sits slightly higher. This one will definitely be hard to top in the future.
Favorite Song: Sleepwalking (close 2nd is Shadow Moses)
