FUN SPACE FACTS!

I'm Cleo and I looove space. So here are 10 space fun facts to start posting in my Friend Rewind account. I will post about space and science, mostly. Anyway, here are the facts:

FACT nº 1: did you know that the fastest period of time a pulsar can spin in is 6.22 milliseconds? That's incredibly fast!

FACT nº2: the Sun contains 99.8% of the Solar System's mass! 

FACT nº3: there's a huge alcohol cloud near the center of the Milky Way. The cloud contains enough alcohol to make trillions of trillions of alcoholic liquid. It's not drinkable tho.

FACT nº4: there's a giant 'thing' called "The Great Attractor" and it's pulling a lot of galaxies, including ours, but we don't know what it is. 

FACT nº5: the largest known structure in the universe is the Hercules-Corona Borealis Great Wall, a colossal grouping of galaxies soo vast that even light would take about 10 billion years to cross it!

FACT nº6: it rains glass sideways on some planets. For example, on the exoplanet HD-189733b winds can exceed 8000km/h and could blow molten glass sideways across the atmosphere.

FACT nº7: there's somewhere in space called "The Boötees Void" and it's one of the strangest things on the universe. It's an enormous region with almost no galaxies even though its diameter is approximately 330,000,000 light years.

FACT nº8: a year in Venus is shorter than a day, because it completes the revolution around the Sun before its rotation.

FACT nº9: the Moon is moving away from Earth every year. About 3.8 cm per year.

FACT nº10: the loudest sound ever recorded in the universe is the collision of two black holes, but it sounds like a drop of water. Check the audio out if ya want! It's official, MIT channel --->
