Game I played lately..... "Toryuu Densetsu Elan Doree (Sega Saturn)"

Honestly the point of this blogpost was to test the Images hosted from FriendRewind to be embedded on Blogposts and other stuffs like Bulletin Posts as well as comments.....

But since I don't have much other stuff to test out I'll share this game to you guys. (Though I've shared about this somewhere before but this time in Blogposts).

So this game is called "Toryuu Densetsu Elan Doree" it was a Sega ST-V Titan Arcade Game that was released in 1998 then shortly after got ported and released in Sega Saturn late on it's lifespan around January 1999 and was only released in Japan. (As Sega Saturn has been discontinued a year earlier.)

It was a game where you ride a dragon and fight your opponent who's also riding a dragon.

You can perform some really nice special attacks and other moves which is pretty awesome.

I really liked the Anime-ish style here, I've just played this quite a while back and I really enjoyed it.

And also the concept was pretty unique to be honest, I can't think of any Arcade Fighting Games with this concept especially in this Era of Home Video Game Consoles.

Most Arcade Fighting Games are Hand-To-Hand Combat, and some having Projectiles and stuff popularized by the likes of Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat and SNK's Arcade Fighting Games.

This one was quite unique to be honest.

There are three modes, you got the "Arcade Mode" where you'll fight all the fighters in the game until you face Black Knight.

And when you beat Black Knight, Black Knight would morph into "Kaiser Dragon" and you have to beat Kaiser Dragon then you finished the game.

Then you get "VS. Mode" where you could have a One-On-One Session with a friend.

Then you have a "Survival Mode".

It didn't have much to offer, given the timeline from when they released the Sega ST-V Titan Arcade Game in the Arcade Market to when they ported this and Released it for the Sega Saturn.

But I'd say it's fine for what it is.

A whole Arcade Mode session would last under 30 Minutes, so if you're a busy person and had a lot to do and want to do aside playing Video Games but still really enjoy playing Video Games then this is for you.

It's pretty great, unfortunately it's pretty underrated as it was released on a Home Video Game Console very late on it's lifespan where it's been discontinued pretty much everywhere outside of Japan.

And this game only had a limited print run when it was released for Sega Saturn and it didn't sell well making it pretty rare and expensive nowadays.
