is it bad if I hit someone after they hit me twice. We played that one game where you hit someone if you see a yellow car (consensual game it was fun) but once I was trying to say something and they hit me twice in the same sentence and then I got annoyed and hit them back but I felt really bad about it because I felt like physicalabuser2000 but also we’re 14 and we pushed/hit eachother a lot as a joke. but they got really quiet after it and I felt terrible. idk if my ocd is just going insane or if I actually physically abused someone. I don’t think I did anything else physically bad to them like EVER but even hitting someone once is abuse. But I was annoyed and kinda overstimulated. Am I terrible for doing that. Be genuine please. I know I’ve done bad stuff in the past I’m just wondering if this is a part of it too.
edit: also I just hit them on the left arm, it wasn’t too strongly I think I wasn’t trying to annihilate their arm but still. I feel bad

It’s ok. You probably just did it a little too hard. It wasn’t abuse because you guys joke around, if you were both mad and started hitting each other it would be a Physical Assault, abuse is seen as more like one person hitting another with no self defense intention, usually as a manipulation tactic. I would talk to them and apologize. I also understand how it could make you feel guilty, but I’m positive that they’ll forgive u. Accidentally hitting someone too hard with the intent of a joke is not abuse, also I know exactly how u feel! I joke like that but I get overstimulated if they do it too suddenly or quickly and I push too hard out of instinct.
I didn’t really do it as a joke though. I didn’t mean it to be incredibly hard or mean and I did apologise after it but I moreso did it as a small way to get back at them because I was annoyed at them hitting me twice in the same sentence. Like, it was already physical, so I just did the thing they were doing back. In the same way that if someone is annoying me by sniffing I’ll sniff reaallyy loud and obnoxiously to mimic them.
