Sosososooo there's this guy at my school and I think he's cool and I want his number but I don't know how to ask. He kinda reminds me of a life guard and he stands like one too. I think he likes talking to me but we've only spoken a few times. I'm not sure how to ask him bc I don't want him to think I'm strange. Everyone else in the class likes me. (Like I've talked to everyone except one kid but I'm best friends with his brother and sister. ) I'm not even sure if I like him but I need advice on how to get someone's number in general. I'm begging I need advice like literally anything , I'll let yall know if anything happens.

Hey! Okay so take my advice with a grain of salt and wrap in your own social cues because I am on the autism spectrum, so my knowledge on social cues is super bad.
However, when I was a teenager, this is how I got peoples numbers: I would naturally talk to them, have a conversation with them, then I would ask in a way of "hey, I'm really enjoying talking to you, can we keep up the convo over text?". Allowing it to flow into a conversation and wanting to continue the conversation over text seems to make it less weird.
You could also say "hey, I would love to be able to study with you sometime and hang out, could I have your number so we can hang out and study together?". This opens up a possible conversation to be had over text, and also opens up the possibility of being able to hang out in person outside of school as well.
Like I said, my social cues are not the best so I may not give the absolute best advice when it comes to asking for numbers or anything.
