Okay, so. As the title says, there is a boy. I've been friends with him for so long but the way he's been treating me recently is so UGH. Him and I have so much in common it's insane and he's so sweet.
The only issue is that I told my friend and she made fun of me because she thinks he's weird. Honestly that's why I like him though, because we're both such weirdo freaks and that's fun. I just don't want people to laugh any time I tell them how much I like him or how gentle and respectful he is with me.
I know I shouldn't care but it affects me when my friends doubt my judgement, eventhough I know he's absolutely perfect for me. He's even said that I care too much what people think about me and maybe this is like that but I just don't know. I don't want to care what people think because he makes me so happy.

It sounds like you both have really good chemistry. I’m also the type of person who cares about what people think, but girl, those friends who knows, in a few years when school is over they won’t mean that much to you. Sure, old friends and all, but then the contact just won’t be the same. Even so, maybe they’re just jealous. Who knows atp As long as my friends are happy with a guy it’s basically all that matters. And if the only thing they comment on is that he’s weird that’s definitely not a negative thing at all. Like, yes, nerdy boys who are "weird" are the best. Trust.
